Mobiuz to Become the Digital Partner for Uzbekistan's Tourism Industry

Mobile operator Mobiuz and the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan have signed a memorandum of cooperation to launch digital services for foreign tourists. The document outlines the integration of Mobiuz solutions with the country's Unified National Tourism Platform.

A key area of cooperation will be the launch of eSIMs for foreign tourists. An eSIM with a complimentary internet package can be obtained in advance through the platform, even before arriving in Uzbekistan.

This will allow travelers to stay connected from the very first moments of their trip — calling a taxi, accessing maps, making bookings, and using other digital services immediately upon entering the country.

The partnership also involves promoting domestic tourism through Mobiuz's digital platforms, including featuring tourism products and services to the operator's broad subscriber base.

A separate area of cooperation will be the parties' joint participation in national and international tourism exhibitions, forums, and festivals.

For Mobiuz, this partnership marks its integration into the digital infrastructure of Uzbekistan's tourism industry and an expansion of its services for visitors to the country.

The parties intend to progressively work through the technical details of the integration and implement joint projects under the terms of the signed memorandum.
