Mobiuz Launches More Than 300 New 4G LTE Base Stations in Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya

Subscribers in the Kashkadarya region are now using 20.5% more mobile internet than at the start of the year. In Surkhandarya, the increase is 13.1%.

Together, subscribers in the two regions move more than 11.5 gigabytes of data every second. Put another way, that is enough to stream about 14 million movies online every month.

The growth is not simply a matter of more people signing up. It is a direct result of steady work to widen coverage and add capacity across the Mobiuz network.

New 4G LTE base stations have launched in every district of the Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions.

In Kashkadarya, the largest number went up in the Shahrisabz, Kitab, Kasbi, Kasan, and Karshi districts, along with the cities of Karshi and Shahrisabz.

In Surkhandarya, the biggest additions came in the Denau, Jarkurgan, Kumkurgan, Termez, and Sariasia districts, and in the city of Termez.

Beyond building new sites, Mobiuz has optimized base station performance at more than 400 locations in Kashkadarya this year, and modernized another 250 sites while expanding their capacity.

New software has also sharpened two services: VoLTE, which carries calls over 4G LTE with crystal-clear sound, and ViLTE, which handles video calls without a third-party app. Both are now available to more subscribers than before.

Mobiuz is continuing to build and modernize its networks not only in the south but across Uzbekistan. The goal is the same everywhere: to keep pace with subscribers' growing appetite for mobile data.
